Sergio Calatayud Lebrón (born 2 March 1990 in Antequera, Málaga, Andalusia), known as Cala, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a midfielder.
Football career
Raised in local Málaga CF's youth ranks, Cala made his senior debuts with the reserves in Tercera División. On 3 March 2011 he played his first official appearance for the main squad, coming on as a substitute for Quincy Owusu-Abeyie in the 69th minute of a 0–7 La Liga away loss against Real Madrid.[1]
After leaving the La Rosaleda Stadium, Cala represented in quick succession CF Fuenlabrada, CD El Palo[2] and Real Jaén, with all the clubs competing in Segunda División B. On 22 July 2016 he moved abroad for the first time signing with Allsvenskan club Jönköpings Södra IF for the remainder of the season[3] and leaving in early June 2017.[4]
