Caister Academy, formerly known as Caister High School, is a coeducational secondary school located in the small seaside village of Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk, England.
History
Caister Academy is a mixed school for 12 to 17-year-old pupils which has held specialist Arts College status since 2002. Caister High School is located on Windsor Road on the coast. They have recently updated the sports hall to help with the education the students are receiving in the Physical Education and Health department. The pupils are split into coloured houses which compete in competitions such as sport day and quizzes. The houses are Green, Red, Yellow and Blue. Each student has a tie matching their house for example green house students obtain a black tie with thin green stripes.
Update: All Students have now obtained a black tie with thin electric blue stripes to match the logo, regardless of their house colour.
The school converted to academy status on 1 February 2015 and is sponsored by the Creative Education Trust.
