Cabinet Committee on Security

Not to be confused with the Cabinet Committee on National Security of Pakistan.

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) of the Central Government of India decides on India's defence expenditure,[1] matters of National Security,[2] and makes significant appointments.[3]

CCS is chaired by the Prime Minister of India and comprises the Minister of Defence, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister of External Affairs.[4]
