Byron Bell (born January 17, 1989) is an American football offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He was originally signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at New Mexico.

Professional career

Carolina Panthers

Bell was undrafted in 2011 and signed for the Panthers that year. As a rookie in 2011, he played 16 games with 12 starts. In 2012, he started 15 games. In 2013, he played 16 games with 14 starts. In 2014, he started 15 games.

Tennessee Titans

Bell signed for the Titans in 2015. In 2015, he started all 16 games for the first time of his career. On May 24, 2016, Bell suffered a dislocated ankle during OTAs and was ruled out for the entire 2016 season.[1]

Dallas Cowboys

On March 24, 2017, Bell signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys.[2]

Personal life

Bell is a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
