By Time (Persian: قسم به زمان‎‎) is a 2011 Iranian documentary film written and directed by Ali Fatehi. This film was directed after the death of Grand Ayatollah Montazeri and in the wake of the Green Movement in Iran. This film addresses the three periods of Monatzeri’s life, before revolution, when he became deputy of Supreme Leader and finally when he gave up the power. This documentary was released in Malaysia on the first anniversary of Ayatollah’s death and was then broadcast on Rasa TV.[1][2]
