World News Media

World News Media is a London-based publisher of magazines, tied to the marketing of numerous vanity awards.[1]

The magazines, such as World Finance, "lean on non-exclusive articles provided by agencies".[1]

The World Finance Awards named Tullett Brown "Commodities Broker of the Year in Western Europe", shortly before they went into liquidation "in the public interest".[2]

In 2012, the Daily Mirror published an article "So how exactly did Worldwide Commodity Partners get this award?", about Worldwide Commodity Partners (WCP) being awarded "Fastest Growing Broker, Western Europe, 2012" in the World Finance Awards.[2] WCP was eventually wound up in the High Court in 2014, "traded with a lack of commercial probity and ... made false and misleading statements in order to sell VER carbon credits to the public for investment at exaggerated prices"[3]
