Burnwynd is a village on the border between the City of Edinburgh and West Lothian, Scotland. It is situated on the A71 road. Burnwynd is home to approximately twenty houses and also Hatton Tennis Club.[1] Old documents also place Robert Burns in Burnwynd on several trips out of Edinburgh.
House Names
None of the houses are referred to by their designated number, rather, they are called by names. This can lead to confusion when supplies are shipped to Burnwynd. In particular, obtaining a Take-out delivery can take an unacceptable amount of time.
