Burkholderia bryophila is a Gram-negative, catalase- and oxidase-positive, nonspore-forming, and nonmotile bacterium of the genus Burkholderia and the family Burkholderiaceae.[3][4] Research has shown that B. bryophila demonstrates anti-fungal activity against phytopathogens and the growth of plant-associated properties.[4]
