Buracona is a small bay and a lagoon located in the northwest of the island of Sal in Cape Verde. The bay is approximately 5 km north of the village Palmeira. The bay forms a part of protected countryside of Buracona-Ragona[1]
In the surrounding area is Monte Leste elevating 263 meters. In the lagoon is one of the few caves in Cape Verde and is called the "Blue Eye"
