Bromfield Priory
Bromfield Priory was a priory in Shropshire, England, located at Bromfield near Ludlow.
It was a college of secular canons, founded before 1061. The Domesday Book of 1086 records an unusual amount of detail of the priory and its history.[1] The priory held 20 hides of land in 1066 and 10 hides by 1086, including land at Halford. In 1086 there were 12 canons.
St Giles in Ludford was a chapel of the priory.
