Broken Hands are an English alternative rock band from Canterbury, UK.[1]
The band's debut album "Turbulence" was released in the UK in October 2015[2] and in the rest of the world in 2016 on the SO Recordings label.[3] The album was produced by Tom Dalgety[4] at Rockfield Studios.[5]
In 2014 the band were playlisted by BBC Radio 1.[6] Single "Meteor" was playlisted by BBC 6 Music[7] and Radio X in 2015[8] and the band recorded an audio and visual live performance at the BBC's Maida Vale studios in 2016.[9]
The band have supported acts including The Cult,[10] Catfish and the Bottlemen,[11] Band Of Skulls[12] and Deaf Havana[13] and performed at the Reading and Leeds Festival,[14] Isle Of Wight Festival, Sonisphere[15] and British Summertime Concerts with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath and Blur.
In 2014 the band performed at SXSW in Austin Texas,[16] 2015 at CMJ Music Marathon in New York[17] and 2016 at Canadian Music Week in Toronto.[18]
