Broadgate Park

Broadgate Park is a self-catered[1] hall of residence at the University of Nottingham[2] for undergraduate and postgraduate students.[2] Housing about 2400 students[1] and containing 2,223 rooms,[3] it is one of the largest student villages in Europe.[4] It is located outside of the West Entrance of the University Park campus of the University. It is owned and maintained by University Partnership Programme. The bar and cafe/bistro are owned by Sodexho. The current warden is Dr Steve Greedy.

The vast majority of blocks in Broadgate Park have rustic names such as those of various trees or flowers.[5]

History
In 2009 UPP announced a £115 million transaction with the University of Nottingham.[6] Under this agreement UPP agreed to provide 850 student bedrooms.[7]
Under an agreement between UPP and the University of Nottingham ownership of the accommodation will be transferred to the University in the year 2047/48.[6]
JCR
The Broadgate Park JCR represents the residents of Broadgate Park as well as Albion House[8] (situated nearby in Beeston) and Cloister House[9] (located in Dunkirk)— two other third-party halls owned by UPP Broadgate Park.
