The Brisbane Heat WBBL team is a women's cricket team based in Brisbane, Australia. It competes in the Twenty20 Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), under the same name and team colours as the Brisbane Heat team in the Big Bash League mens' competition.[2]

One of eight founding teams in the league,[2] the WBBL team is coached by Andy Richards, and its inaugural captain was Delissa Kimmince.[3][4]

In January 2017, Kimmince stepped down from the captaincy and was replaced by Kirby Short.[5]
