Breathing Games is an open access health commons that aims to promote respiratory health through games for health and open source hardware released under copyleft licences.[1][2]
Breathing Games builds on open collaboration and peer production[3][4] to design and develop education and treatment games and hardware for asthma,[5] cystic fibrosis,[6][7] and other chronic respiratory diseases.[8]
In 2017, Breathing Games' lead Fabio Balli[9] received funds from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research[10] and the French Hospitals Federation to further develop the effort.
