On December 12, 2016, John King Jr., the United States Secretary of Education, finalized the process of revoking the U.S. Department of Education's recognition of ACICS as an accreditor.[5] The Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP, ). The Dental Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation () of the American Dental Association.
