Brad Cole (born October 21, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman for the Ritten/Renon of the Italian Serie A.
Career
Cole played four Western Hockey League (WHL) seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds, Kootenay Ice and Saskatoon Blades between 2003 and 2007. He turned professional in 2007–08 when he was signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames and was assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Quad City Flames. In October 2010 Cole was signed as a free agent by the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL.[1]
After two seasons abroad in the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL), with HDD Olimpija Ljubljana and EC VSV, Cole returned to the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL for the 2013–14 season. In September 2014, Cole agreed to a one-year contract to remain in the ECHL with the Alaska Aces.[2] In July 2015, Cole returned to Europe after signing as a free agent with Italian club Ritten/Renon of the Serie A.[3]
