Bovey Tracey A.F.C. is a football club based in Bovey Tracey, Devon, England. The club joined the South West Peninsula League's Division One East in 2008, after promotion from the South Devon League. They achieved promotion in their debut season and currently play in the South West Peninsula League Division One East.
Bovey Tracey A.F.C. also run a reserve and third side in the South Devon Football League. As of 2014–15, these sides play in the Premier and Fourth Divisions respectively.
History
Bovey Tracey was formed in 1950. They were champions of the South Devon Football League Premier Division in 2007–08. They joined the South West Peninsula League Division One East in 2008, finishing runners-up in their inaugural season and gaining promotion to the Premier Division. They entered the FA Vase for the first time in 2011–12, reaching the Second Qualifying Round.[1] Bovey Tracey A.F.C. reserves won the 2011–12 South Devon Football League Division Three title as the only unbeaten team in the league. In 2015 they returned to the Division One East after six seasons in the Premier Division.
