Borders of Jordan

Jordan has international borders with 4 sovereign states, including one with maritime boundary (Egypt), as well as with the partially recognized state of Palestine. The land border running 1,635 kilometres (1,016 mi) in total.[1]

Except for small sections of the borders with Israel and Syria, Jordan's international boundaries do not follow well-defined natural features of the terrain (Borders with Saudi Arabia and Iraq). The country's boundaries were established by various international agreements and with the exception of the border with Israel, none was in dispute in early 1989.[2]
