Bodoland University is a university in Debargaon, Kokrajhar, Assam, India. It was established by the Bodoland University Act 2009 by the Assam Government. Bodoland University is an up-gradation of the Kokrajhar Campus of Gauhati University to a full-fledged State University as per the provision of the Act.[1]
This university was set up to give education to the entire lower Assam area. As of 2015, Hemanta Kumar Baruah is the Vice Chancellor of the university.[2]
