Boban Stojanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Бобан Стојановић; born February 27, 1979) is a Serbian football striker who plays for FK Jedinstvo Ub in the Serbian League West.[1]
Playing career
Stojanović began his career in the First League of FR Yugoslavia with Red Star Belgrade in 1997. He featured in the 2005–06 UEFA Cup against S.C. Braga.[2]During his time in the First League he played with FK Železnik, Jedinstvo Ub, Radnički Obrenovac,, Hajduk Kula, and Borac Čačak.[3][4][5] In 2008, he participated in his second UEFA Cup tournament against AFC Ajax.[6]In 2003, he went across the border to play in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina with FK Leotar. During his time in Bosnia he played in the 2003–04 UEFA Champions League against CS Grevenmacher.[7]
In 2007, he went abroad to Romania to play with FC UTA Arad in the Liga I.[8]He played with Panetolikos F.C. in 2009.[9] In 2010 returned to Serbia with play with Borac Čačak, FK Srem Jakovo, FK Radnički Nova Pazova, and FK Voždovac. In 2012, he went to Canada to play with London City in the Canadian Soccer League.[10]He returned to Serbia to play with Srem Jakovo, and Jedinstvo Surčin.[11]
