Magazines

Boat International Media produces more than 1.4 million magazines annually. Its market covers over 57 countries and 6 languages.

Boat International was launched in 1983. Distributed in 55 countries it is an international, monthly, English language luxury yachting magazine. Boat International US Edition, originally launched in 1988 as ShowBoats International, is distributed throughout North America from a publishing office in Fort Lauderdale. Dockwalk was launched in 1998, and targets captains and crew of superyachts around the globe. All three of these titles are also available electronically as digital magazines. Boat International Media licenses titles and supplies editorial content four additional national markets: Boat International Russia, Boat International Brasil, Mer & Bateau and Meer & Yachten.

The website was relaunched in July 2011, and now includes a considerable editorial section alongside the yacht listings. Content now includes latest luxury yacht news, in-depth articles on specific yachts and destination guides to help you plan your next itinerary.

http://www.dockwalk.com is the online community portal serving the captains and crew, that work on board these superyachts. Alongside the forum community, there is an extensive list of the latest job vacancies, training courses and useful guides to working in the luxury yacht industry.

Books

The Superyachts has been published since 1987 and focuses on the finest yachts launched in the most recent calendar year as well as logging the largest 200 yachts in the world. Megayachts is now on its 13th volume and focuses on the future of yacht design and construction. Refit is now on its 12th edition covering refit stories behind many significant and unusual yachts.

Events

The World Superyacht Awards is a ceremony and gala dinner for superyacht owners and designers.[2] The Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta is a race hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, located in Porto Cervo on the northern coast of Sardinia in the summer. The Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous is a springtime regatta and cruising event hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda's base in Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. The Rendezvous in Monaco is a social event organised in association with the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBASS) and the Yacht Club de Monaco. ShowBoat Design Awards is an award ceremony for the year's best superyacht designs and technology. In 2014 the group will co-sponsor the America's Cup Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous in San Francisco during the finals of the America's Cup sailing.
