Blundells Copse
Blundells Copse is a Local nature reserve in Tilehurst.[1] The nature reserve is under the management of the Reading Borough Council.[2] Along with Lousehill Copse & McIlroy Park it is part of West Reading Woodlands.[3]
Geography and site
The site is 5.55 hectares in size.[4] The site is a close growing, ancient woodland with a stream.[5]
History
Blundells Copse was part of an area formerly known as the Moor.[6]
In 1992 site was designated a Local Nature Reserve.[7]
In 2005, path widening and improvements were made to the reserve as of funding by Living Spaces and the Environmental Trust for Berkshire.[2]
