Drake & Josh is an American sitcom that originally aired on Nickelodeon from January 11, 2004, to September 16, 2007. Two TV films, Drake & Josh Go Hollywood and Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh, were made apart from the regular series that aired on January 6, 2006 and December 5, 2008 respectively. There are a total of 57 episodes that were produced, spanning four seasons (2004–07). Drake Bell, Josh Peck, and Miranda Cosgrove appeared in all of the episodes.

Drake Parker (Drake Bell) is a cool and popular teenager while Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) is a teenager whom Drake describes as unusual. Drake's mom Audrey Parker (Nancy Sullivan) and Josh's father Walter Nichols (Jonathan Goldstein) have been dating and announce to Drake, Josh and Drake's sister Megan (Miranda Cosgrove) that they are getting married. Josh is thrilled but Drake and Megan are not. Drake is being stressed out when he finds out that Josh is Miss Nancy, the anonymous advice columnist for the school newspaper, and uses this to get a date with Tiffany Margolis (Julie Gonzalo). Drake accidentally angers her boyfriend Buck (Joey Mendicino), who thinks she is on a date with Josh while Drake is in the kitchen. He challenges Josh to a fight. Josh trains all day under a karate instructor but still ends up getting knocked out in a second. Later, Drake helps Josh realize that he can give good advice without wearing his Miss Nancy dress. Drake and Josh then warm up to each other and call themselves brothers.

Drake and Josh receive a broken-down dune buggy from Trevor (Taran Killam) and fix it up, but are forbidden by their parents to drive it. Josh is grounded for lying badly when Drake convinced him to; Drake disobeys Audrey and Walter and drives it with Trevor anyway. Drake injures himself when he crashes the dune buggy but keeps his injuries a secret to stay out of trouble. Josh finds out when he gets a call from the emergency room and gets revenge by tricking his dad, Walter into wrestling Drake to the ground. Josh goes to fix the dune buggy again, making Drake feel guilty. Eventually, Drake confesses and Walter and Audrey ground Drake for two weeks. However, Drake ends up liking it because to him, it meant, "Two weeks laying in bed, no school, playing a little guitar, watching a little TV..." Josh is also forced to give Drake his wants and needs, possibly for making his dad wrestle Drake when he was injured.

Megan films sheepish shots of Drake and Josh while Susan (Ashley Drane), Drake's new girlfriend, flirts with Josh. When she keeps doing this to him, Drake becomes furious with Josh as he thinks he is trying to steal his girlfriend and becomes more distant to him despite Josh's true objections. As a prank, Megan films this and puts this, along with a bunch of other embarrassing shots, into Drake's music video project, which unknowingly helps Drake and Josh by exposing Susan as she flirts with Josh.

Josh tells Walter that he and Drake will babysit his boss' son so that Walter can get a promotion, much to Drake's dismay. The baby disappears and Josh panics while Drake leaves to play in a concert. However, underlying loyalty compels Drake to return and help Josh find the baby before Walter and his boss return. After learning the baby may have climbed into Josh's new built slingshot, Josh panics a lot more. Eventually, Drake and Megan have found the baby and Josh becomes surprised about this as Walter and his boss arrive home just in the nick of time.

Kathy wants Josh to play her a song at her birthday party, which is at the coffee shop not only run by Josh's former karate teacher, but the one Drake just got banned from because of a prank involving Megan's pet snake.

When Megan, Audrey and Walter leave the house for the weekend, Drake and Josh's dreams of a parent free weekend are dashed when Josh's grandmother and Walter's mom (Randee Heller) comes to babysit. Josh becomes glad and Drake does not like Grammy at all. He wanted to go a Rock Shock concert with his friends but his parents refuse to let him go and even his friends can't go to the concert as the tickets are sold out. Grammy makes a deal with Drake- if he beats her at a basketball game, he can go hang out with his friends, as long as he doesn't go to the Rock Shock concert. He wins, but breaks Grammy's promise out of peer-pressure and goes to the concert anyway, but once there, finds out the tickets his friends had are actually counterfeit, and they get detained at the concert. Grammy, then has to pay a $200 fine to get Drake and his friends off the hook. Grammy, outraged, reveals that she let Drake win so he could go with his friends. Drake doesn't believe her and decides to play again, under the condition that if he wins, no one tells his parents about the concert. Grammy agrees if he agrees to tell his parents himself if he loses. Drake soon realizes that Grammy was telling the truth and is forced to explain about the concert to his parents, but Grammy stops him, seeing as he paid back the $200 and was willing to tell them, instead explaining that she beat Drake at basketball as Grammy tells Drake that he is off the hook for now.

Drake has an addiction to junk food and Josh is addicted to video games. This gets the better of them when they get in trouble for forgetting to bring Megan home on a rainy day. They both make a bet to see who can live without their addictions with a contract made by Megan; the loser must dye his hair pink. However after a few days temptation takes over when Drake gets a rash from his sudden change in diet from not eating junk food and the doctor says his only cure is to eat it, while Josh receives a GameSphere (GameCube). Neither of them do what they must do. They each talk to Megan and she advises they each try to make each other crack. Josh turns their room into a Candy Palace with cotton candy pillows, a pool of hot chocolate, licorice strings, and bins filled with candy (á la Willy Wonka). Drake however plays the GameSphere right in front of Josh and with all the lights, sounds, and effects, Josh gets mad. Walter and Audrey have a side bet on who will give in first. Drake and Josh have both had enough and each lose the bet which in turn causes a fight. After an error in the contract happens, they must both dye their hair pink and the parents also signed the contract so they too must dye their hair pink. The next day, all of them have their pink hair. Drake is the last to leave his house to school and reveals that his hair was just a wig.

Drake wins tickets to his favorite band's concert, Zero Gravity, and he also gets an autographed Cherry Red 1964 Fender Stratocaster signed by the lead guitarist, Devin Malone (Mark Matkevich). Josh plugs it into Drake's faulty amplifier to show Megan how an electric guitar works, and the guitar explodes. Josh tries to buy a new one and get it autographed before Drake finds out. Meanwhile, Walter struggles to bond with Drake. Later at the concert, Drake reveals he knew since Megan squealed on him. However Drake is not mad at Josh and he drools at the sight of his hero. However moments before the concert Josh accidentally slams the guitar case door on Devin's hand. Josh then nominates Drake to perform in place of Devin. The manager agrees to let Drake perform after he hears how good Drake is on the guitar. In the end Drake makes it up to Josh by giving him a check for $1250 that Drake earned from the gig and Josh decides to get himself a tanning bed.

Josh gets a job at the Premiere movie theater for making "Crazy" Steve (Jerry Trainor) quit after complaining about his wobbly drink holder, but Helen (Yvette Nicole Brown) soon forgets (and always has) Josh's job. Drake soon starts working there, too. However, Drake obtains more credit for work despite his laziness and Josh being more competent. Adored by The Premiere's boss, Helen, she plans to promote Drake to assistant manager, much to Josh's dismay. Josh attempts to impress Helen by selling more popcorn, but his idea ends up in a chaos and when Josh is about to admit that the chaos was his fault, Drake takes the blame on himself as he felt that the job meant more to Josh than it did to him, and then even though Helen doesn't want to, she fires Drake.

Drake says Josh is uncool after Josh humiliates Mandi (Leah Pipes), a cheerleader and makes him try out for the school football team to become popular. Josh becomes the equipment manager, but will have to play to get in the playoffs after his brownies, poisoned by Megan by adding dirt to the mix, makes all of the players ill. Drake attempts to sneak a janitor (Tony Longo), who used to play pro football, into the game, but Josh finally plays in the end helping the team make it to the playoffs with an opposing player hitting him 20 yards in the endzone and Drake admits that he is pretty cool.

Drake discovers Josh is talented at pool. He takes advantage of this and uses him to hustle several people. This eventually stops when Josh finds out about it, previously unaware of the hustling, and vows to not play pool again as a result. Drake, wanting to do more hustling, attempts to convince Josh to play pool again. Meanwhile, Walter tries to find a gift for Audrey's birthday. She then shocks all of them when she buys a White Gold Tennis Bracelet from Ruffafferds for herself, the same exact present Walter bought. Walter asks Drake and Josh if they can buy her something else because he is late for work. They go through a shortcut which happens to have a pool hall. Josh agrees to play on his conditions. Inside, everyone has tattoos, leather jackets and have the Bad-Boy image. He acts like it's his first time playing pool and shoots the cue ball into a two thugs' food causing them to get mad. They each put $200 on the table as a bet for who would win. When Josh wins, the thugs accuse him of hustling them and pin them against a wall. Drake is very sorry for everything he did and Josh reveals that the two thugs were his old camp counselors, Chip and Rodney and that it was all just a set up to teach Drake a lesson about hustling. They notice Rodney has a white gold necklace on and agrees to sell it to them for the $200 (the money Walter gave the boys for Audrey's present) since it matched their mother's tennis bracelet.

Drake unintentionally joins the academic team at school to impress Michelle (Kate Lang Johnson), a girl he likes who has intellectual interests. He competes in the academic bowl while Josh reluctantly feeds him info through a radio, but then a fast food restaurant interferes with Josh's radio frequency, causing Drake's team to lose points (saying prices for hamburgers instead of important history dates). Drake, however, leads the team to victory because of some knowledge that Josh had given him and later confesses to Michelle that he is not smart, but Michelle admits that she likes him for who she is. Meanwhile, tired of Megan's countless pranks on him, Josh tries to get back at her, only to fail each time.

The Premiere is holding a Hollywood premiere starring Ashley Blake (Skyler Samuels), a child actress. Helen (Frances Callier) tells Drake and Josh to always follow Ashley Blake's orders, and Drake and Josh are forced to become her personal assistants. When she gets knocked out, due to an accident involving a bucket and a door, they have to bring her to the Premiere without making it look like she is unconscious, they then hold her up, talk for her and moves her arms for her.

Note: Yvette Nicole Brown, who usually plays the role of Helen, was replaced by Frances Callier in this episode.

Drake prepares for a talent show; Josh appears on his dad's weather show only to discover that he has stage fright, which causes him to twitch heavily on TV live. The forecast was unfortunately viewed by many in San Diego and Josh begins to get teased by people. At the talent show, a boy band steals the song Drake was originally going to perform with his band forcing them to improvise. To restore Josh's reputation, Drake offers to let Josh in his talent show audition and perform the song "Soul Man". Helen ran the Belleview Talent Show at the Premiere. Drake, along with a no longer stage frightened Josh wins the contest after performing a great rendition of Soul Man.

Drake then keeps the ticket a secret and makes Josh drive him around everywhere, threatening to tell Walter about the ticket if he does not.

A girl from Megan's campfire troop, Wendy (Alyson Stoner), has a massive crush on Drake. Her dream is for Drake to play her a song. Impressed with all her knowledge of him, Drake gives her a guitar pick. Eventually, she becomes obsessed and will not leave him alone. As a subplot, Walter makes Josh the boss of Megan's camp group, but Josh ends up stuck in a tent. Wendy takes her obsession for Drake too far by posting flyers everywhere around his school promoting an upcoming radio appearance Drake will make with his band. Furious, Drake rampages on Wendy about how she meant nothing to him. At the station, he is in desperate need of a guitar pick and when he checks his pockets, he finds a note from Wendy apologizing for what she did and returning the pick he gave her. A lady with a trumpet (also making an appearance to the radio) finds out what happened and tells him to go fix it. Realizing his mistake for getting angry at his Number 1 Fan, he leaves the station forcing the broadcasters to move on to the next band. Drake returns home to Wendy and plays a song to her and only her, making her dream come true. Finally, Drake asks the kids if they want to go to Chuck E. Cheddar's, then they all accept and go with him, leaving Josh stuck in the tent.

Drake wants to break up with his girlfriend Kelly (Chelsea Brummet), because she has a really annoying laugh. However, once he finds out that Mrs. Hayfer (Julia Duffy), his English teacher who hates him, is Kelly's mother. He is unable to break up with her because Mrs. Hayfer threatens to send Drake to Summer School if he does so in an effort to protect her daughter from getting hurt. Drake becomes further annoyed with Kelly and is unable to decide what to do. Josh then has an idea. He says that in order to solve this Drake must make Kelly break up with him. Meanwhile, Josh has an ugly shirt which he claims to be a "lucky" shirt, as it gets him many valuable things, as well as helping him dodge Megan's pranks. Meanwhile, much to Josh's excitement, Kelly gets him a date with her friend Allison who is a teen model, loves video games, and magic tricks, then sets up a double date at The Premiere between Drake, Kelly, Josh, and Allison. Before the double date, Drake decides that he needs to wear the "lucky" shirt in order to break up with Kelly. Drake and Josh argue over who should get to wear it, which eventually causes the sleeves to rip off the shirt, leading to Drake wearing the torso and Josh wearing the sleeves on the double date. During the affair, Josh gives the sleeves to Drake to finish the shirt in a deal where Drake would only need the shirt for 5 minutes and afterwards, Josh could have it for the rest of the night. This leads to Kelly breaking up with Drake. Kelly promises to tell Mrs. Hayfer that she broke up with him to prevent Drake from having to go to summer school. Afterwards, Drake gives the shirt back to Josh, and while Drake leaves The Premiere jumping up and down with joy, Josh goes to a movie with his new date. Megan later gets Audrey to get rid of the shirt.

Josh then abandons Drake thinking Drew "is a better you than you!" even attending a movie premiere that they were planning to go to, with Drew. So Drake gets revenge by spending a day with Jerry, deep sea fishing, something Josh always wanted to do. At the end, Drew and Jerry get their own show which is a parody of Drake and Josh, after a talent agent saw them doing their hobbies in front of people (playing the saxophone and dancing).

Drake is wrongly accused of pulling a prank on Mrs. Hayfer when her car is parked inside her classroom. Nonetheless, she suspends him for it. Josh decides to defend Drake in school court to prove his brother's innocence, but his opposition is his archenemy Mindy Crenshaw (Allison Scagliotti-Smith). However Mindy beats him by proving how Drake hates Mrs. Hayfer and that Josh is not a light sleeper, causing them to lose the case. But Megan later give them a report card of Mindy's grades and find out just before the court can suspend Drake that Mindy had one B in her report giving to her by Mrs. Hayfer. This gives Josh the final clue, the B ate away at Mindy until she couldn't take it and for revenge, she parked the car inside Mrs. Hayfer's classroom and stole a jacket from Drake's locker to frame him for it. When Mindy admits this, she is suspended and goes crazy.

Audrey and Walter leave the house to go to Los Angeles for Spring Break, leaving Drake and Josh in charge of Megan. But Drake spends $200, which was intended only for food and emergencies, on toys and other unnecessary items. He later overhears a wife and husband not having a place to stay in San Diego, so Drake decides to turn the house into a bed and breakfast to earn money. Though Josh initially disagrees, he later agrees because they need money. Megan also agrees, but only if she is treated like a hotel guest Drake later invites college students, who seem nice at first, but are revealed to be party mad freaks. Josh wants them out of the house, but Drake enjoys himself until one of the kids breaks his guitar and then joins in. Eventually with the help of Megan, they succeed in getting them out before Walter and Audrey come home. However, Audrey and Walter are arrested after the house party was broadcast on TV without a city authorized permit.

Josh enters a salsa recipe contest and asks Drake to help him in order to win the prize, a large plasma screen TV. Megan wants to help the boys win the TV for the family, but they decline, wanting instead to have the TV to themselves in their room. In revenge, Megan secretly puts a highly reactive substance in the boys' salsa which causes it to explode, leaving the boys and the family kitchen covered in salsa. The boys know Megan is responsible and hope to expose her for her pranks. They think they will accomplish this after discovering a secret surveillance panel in Megan's bedroom, but instead they are punished for falsely accusing her after their parents see only a normal bedroom wall (Megan's panel has disappeared behind a false wall). Later, when Megan enters the salsa recipe contest, the boys overhear her meeting with someone to obtain some rare "Peruvian Puff Peppers", which could guarantee her win in the contest, and they steal the peppers from her, which infuriates her. Despite initially winning the salsa contest over Megan's own entry, the boys are disqualified when they tell the judges their secret ingredient is the "Peruvian Puff Pepper", noted by the judges to be "illegal in the United States" as it can cause "chronic kidney failure and/or chapped lips". Instead, Megan wins the contest and the TV. Although she realizes that the boys think that she set them up, she tells them she is not that smart to do that. At the end, Megan watches the boys repaint the kitchen after the earlier incident through her new TV.

Josh's foreign e-pal Yooka (Anastasia Baranova), who is from Yudonia (a parody of the former Yugoslavia), visits his house and Drake falls in love with her. Drake and Josh soon learn that she is homesick through translation (though she actually said 'sick of home', and Josh mistranslated it). Josh gets a man to perform a friendship ceremony to make Yooka more at home. But it turns out to be a wedding ceremony and she and Drake are married, much to his dismay. Drake plots with Josh to end his marriage when Yooka's parents fly in to meet their new 'son-in-law' and Drake's parents find out. However, Drake quickly regrets this after discovering Yooka's father is a billionaire. Josh serves goat meat to Yooka's family, though goats (or glokmahs as they call it in Yooka's country) are sacred in Yooka's homeland, and it all backfires after Josh spills the beans. Ultimately, Yooka's father ends the marriage and Yooka and her family return home to Yudonia, much to the sadness of Drake.

Mindy returns from a mental institution (following the events of her first appearance in the Season 2 episode "Honor Council", where she attempted to get Drake suspended) and, once again, beats Josh in the science fair. With advice from Megan, Josh attempts to ignore her, but unfortunately, Mindy picks him as her partner for her project, where they eventually realize they have feelings for one another and begin to date. However, Josh is too worried to tell Drake about the relationship with his feud to Mindy, causing Mindy to dump Josh. When Drake finally finds out, he tries to get the two back together by taking Josh to Mindy's house during the night. Josh and Mindy finally kiss through Mindy's bedroom window.

When Drake and Josh think that Walter is cheating on Audrey, and after a lot of eavesdropping and spying on Walter and his new "girlfriend", Peggy (Allison Dunbar), they try to make Walter fall in love with Audrey again by making a meal for Walter that Audrey "made". Their plan doesn't work out when Drake puts cumin instead of cinnamon in Walter's waffles, causing Walter to suffer from an allergic reaction that almost kills him. Drake and Josh save Walter's life after giving him an inhaler. They later end up messing up Walter's date with Peggy. They later find out that the woman was actually a television agent who was offering Walter a weatherman spot on the number one national morning show of America. The boys' messing up the date meant that the offer was rejected and Walter makes Drake and Josh pay the price by shoving food all over themselves like they did with Peggy.

However Helen gets a call from her doctor to take the patches off her eyes and does so to find the party in progress. Helen then thinks the party is for her and allows it to continue. Meanwhile, Megan pitches to Helen an idea of a bucket-shaped container that stores most movie theater snacks, which Josh instantly disapproves of, and earns $700.

Josh drops a barbell on his foot after Drake shot him with a potato using a launching gun, but he's scared to go to the hospital. When he is forced to, Drake tries to get the attention of college nurses by impersonating a doctor. Only though, he is the lookalike of a young doctor due to arrive that day. Drake now has to avoid being caught by Josh's doctor, Doctor Carlson (John O'Hurley) and ends up having to perform a foot surgery. Eventually he is caught when the real doctor shows up, and he jumps out the window, breaking his arm in the process. Meanwhile, Megan plots revenge on the boys for not letting her turn up the heat upstairs, since the thermostat was in their room. She decreases the temperature of their room gradually so low that it begins snowing.

The fight then pushes the two apart as they become hostile and Drake moves out of their room with Josh in. The two continue to be bitter at each other until the clerk who sold the foam finger visits and claims what really happened then. Megan threw a cookie at Josh which he thought that was Drake and the two then fight. Realizing that neither of them started the fight and which it was Megan, they then apologize and think what they will be like when they are older. Years later, as old men, the two fight over the same way when they were 8 years old as an elderly Megan throws a cookie at Josh and the two fight before eventually falling asleep. Later, it is revealed to be only a dream that present-day Drake is having, although Josh wakes him up by fantasizing about Oprah.

Drake finds an 11-year-old boy in Megan's class with a talent to play drums and wants him to play for the band on Friday after his original drummer quit, but he is not allowed to play after failing Josh's pop quiz so Drake is now enraged. Drake and Megan hatch a sneaky little plan to fire Josh from the student-teaching group. They sneak into the school at night and replace his liquid (to use in chemistry) with one that will explode when combined with anything and unscrew the sink to burst water when turned. At the end Josh is fired and the young boy gets to play with Drake at a concert in the premiere. Megan's classmates then admit that Josh is cool, and he delightfully admits it to Gavin, who replies "I heard "almost".

Sammy likes Josh more than Drake and often excludes him. Josh and Sammy then have lots of fun together such as filming a pretend cooking show where (still recording) Josh tells Sammy how most people who know Drake and Josh refer Drake over him and it's "kind of nice having things the other way around.". Not wanting to go to Remedial English as a result to being unsuccessful with Sammy, Drake desperately tries to interest him. Although he succeeds, he realizes that Sammy truly prefers Josh after seeing the cooking show tape and what Sammy meant to Josh. He then pretends to be sick so Sammy and Josh can go to a magic show. Later he gets sent to Remedial English and Josh comes in to free Drake.

Because Papa Nichols wakes up disoriented, he thinks he is back in World War II and that Craig and Eric are considered to be Germans, in which he proceeds to attack them and breaks Eric's cell phone. While at Mystic Mountain, Drake, Josh, and Megan are bumped to the back of the line after Josh got back in the middle of the line upsetting the other people when he had to use the bathroom, then Drake and Josh get bumped back again for messing with Milfred Mouse the mascot and Megan takes the opportunity to remain in line by pretending not to know them. When Megan tells Drake and Josh that she had rode the Demonator, Drake and Josh finally get to ride the Demonator and get home just in the nick of time before Audrey and Walter come home to see how Drake and Josh did watching Papa Nichols. At the end, Papa Nichols punches Walter mistaken him for a German soldier.

Drake and Josh continue to try to prove to her that aliens are invading, and when Megan is left home alone one night, Drake and Josh dress as aliens and get their comeuppance on Megan. But a real alien shows up that turns out to be Megan's friend and it scares everyone but her when she recognizes who it is. She decides to give the boys time to figure it out.

An angry Megan is getting sick and tired of their fighting and waking her up at 11:45 P.M. three nights in a row, she gives them tickets to the Dr. Phyllis show, where they think of all the fighting and arguing they have been involved in, so they will learn how to get along. Drake then mentions a girl named Liza Tupper (mentioned in "Playing the Field") saying what a horrible kisser she was. Liza Tupper, who happens to be Dr. Phyllis' (Gabrielle Carteris) daughter. The host then gets mad at Drake for saying that and when Josh tries to help, she attacks him as well for no reason. Once back at the house, they are upset that pretty much the only thing she did was make them think of the bad times between the two, even though they have had some really memorable good times. They then have a montage of those good times. Despite this, they eventually end up in an argument about soda. Just then an angry Megan who's still sick and tired of their fighting sets off her smokebomb to make the house quiet.

When they get to the hospital to apologize, they can't get past security so Drake tricks them and the whole hospital into believing Josh has a virus, which in return, causes him to get a chemical bath. In the end Drake makes it up to an enraged Josh by throwing him a party, with a signature from Oprah (in reality a signed restraining order from Oprah) and a new motor scooter. Meanwhile, Megan tries to take care of Toby, a virtual pet that belongs to her friend Janie.

Bell) offers help but Drake insults him so he leaves them. Drake and Josh eventually get the car working, but it catches on fire and they are stuck for good.

This works and Carly gets back with him, only though Josh still wins the bet. As part of the bet, if Josh won he would switch beds with Drake for one night, but during that night they decide to switch back after Josh falls off of Drake's high risen platform.

At the funeral, he comes back to life explaining that the no pulse was his trick and then make Drake and Josh's pants see-through. Doheny gets a five year deal in Las Vegas and leaves San Diego to perform there.

When they come home they realize all the furniture is back where it belongs because the robbers' moving van had broken down about a half mile up the street.

However, he is later arrested and Megan frees Drake and Josh as long as they give Bobo back to the car dealer and buy the car she wants (a yellow Beetle with hot pink flowers on it). Though reluctant, they buy the car which results in them getting teased by their friends much to the delight of Megan.

The episode ends with the two brothers reconciling over a game of Ping-Pong.

Meanwhile, Josh worries that Mindy has another boyfriend who ends up being her cousin, Chad.

So she told them that she knew how scared they were, and that she was watching the whole time as the boys were both eaten alive by their own fear. In the end, she finally gets her revenge by pressing a button on a device, which blows up the spot on Drake and Josh's bedroom floor where they were standing, causing them to fall down into the garage below. Finally, Megan looks down the hole in the floor, and tells Drake and Josh that Hervé wasn't dead, but stunned from the camera flash. Drake and Josh then both simultaneously mutter Megan's name before passing out on the garage floor.

After Josh tries to do a nice thing by dragging Drake to visit his bowlegged cousin Skippy's dairy farm so Drake won't be lazy all the time, Drake makes Josh tickle one of the cows for revenge and making it angry and chasing him up Walnut Grove Rd., they get grounded, later Drake gets himself and Josh fake IDs so that they can enter a nightclub in San Diego to listen to Josh's favorite band, the Hailstones (a parody of The Rolling Stones). However, they are caught by the police. Although they would not be arrested and go to jail, instead of Audrey and Walter grounding Drake and Josh, the police suggests that the two would go through a 'Steered Straight' program which teaches children about what it's like to be in trouble with the law and going to jail. However, the plan eventually backfires when the officer who is driving them to the police station is interrupted by a criminal who hijacks his police car, and Drake and Josh try to act like real criminals by using their fake ID names (Jefferson Steelflex and Alvin Yakatori) in order to be friends with the criminal so the criminal will take them to their house. However they get him convinced that they were calling their "crew" to kidnap the governor, so he decides to call his crew instead. However when Walter comes home early, the boys attack him and handcuff him and tape his mouth shut and lock him in the closet and Drake and Josh decided to use a magic kit to make it look like "Jefferson" was hurting "Alvin" after an argument on who will take out the guards. Drake hits Josh with a banana while he puts fake blood all over his face and then Drake pulls out a prosthetic hand that Josh wore over his real hand. Terrified and disgusted, the criminals make a run for it, leaving the two boys. The family goes out for dinner that night and the boys remember they forgot to take Walter out of the room.

After a lecture from Walter, Drake and Josh, feeling bad, apologize to Corey so he can go out with Megan again. However, when Josh goes to the Premiere to pick up his paycheck, he sees Corey with another girl named Monica (who he has been dating for a month at that point). He then tells Drake and they decide to tell Megan. At her next date, Drake and Josh arrive and expose Corey by bringing Monica. Megan and Monica both break up with Corey after they realized he was cheating on them. Corey then severely beats Drake and Josh up. Megan apologizes for not believing them at first, and then tells them she loves them.

To get into the party, Josh pushes a reluctant Drake into giving Thornton his autographed Abbey Road (The Beatles) album which is what he had just received from an English man. Even though Thornton accepts the present, he still doesn't welcome them into the party. As a result, Drake and Josh decided to get revenge by crashing and ruining the party being dressed up as the Red Sky Nauts from Galaxy Wars (a parody of Star Wars) with lightsabers, to get the album back. When they are discovered they are able to escape with Drake secretly getting the album back, at the end Drake and Josh have lightsaber swords that glows and what they got from Thornton's birthday party then have a big sword fight in their bedroom by jumping around.

Drake finally gets a record deal with Josh as his manager. Drake seems totally cool with it - until his song is turned into an unwanted pop mix because Josh signed a contract without reading it, as he was mesmerized by the big shrimps. This causes Drake to become furious; he fires Josh as his manager. Josh then gives the CD that wasn't the remix to a newsperson. Meanwhile, Mindy decides to work at the Premiere to get closer to Josh, which doesn't really work. Helen makes a deal with Craig and Eric to video tape her wedding with Buzz. With Helen's wedding approaching, the Parker-Nichols family must cope with the fact that Helen's grandmother is staying at their house. At the end of this episode, Josh and Mindy get back together, Drake and Josh realize that they got their room back to the way it was and finds out that Megan and her friends are eating big shrimp that Nick Metaio sent over for them but found out that there's only 1 shrimp but they both want it and start fighting over it. Footage from another show created by Dan Schneider, The Amanda Show, is shown to parallel Drake and Josh fighting over 1 shrimp towards the end of the episode.

They eventually run out of fuel & jump out with one parachute as a last resort to escape. Then, the boys return home just as their parents come home. Finally, the pilot angirly arrives at the house & says that Walter has to pay $400,000 for the damaged helicopter so Drake and Josh ground themselves for 2 weeks & go to bed, knowing the consequences.

Josh enters a dance contest to get extra credit in order to be the top student of his class. When Drake is threatened to fail gym and repeat the 11th grade, he too enters the contest in order to pass and steals Josh's original dance partner, Emily (Johanna Braddy). Josh then finds a cruel Eastern-European dance partner named Vilga to compete with Drake. Vilga has an extremely nasty personality and insults Drake and Emily upon meeting them. Emily and Vilga don't get along and break out fighting before the competition. Luckily, security breaks it up before it gets out of hand. However, both girls get disqualified for the fighting and thrown out. Drake and Josh decide to dance together and win the competition, both of them getting what they wanted.

Josh decides that he needs a great adventure in his life and Drake promotes him as his band's new manager after he fired his old one for cancelling three gigs in a month and having Drake perform at an old folk's home. Audrey and Walter leave to go on a 10-day cruise vacation, and Megan has made plans to go to Denver, Colorado to visit her friend Jessica. Drake and Josh mistakenly send Megan on Flight 647 to Los Angeles when she was supposed to board Flight 746 and follow her on another plane to bring her home. On the plane, Josh's G-O (parody of the iPod) gets switched with someone else's. The G-O that Josh has turns out to be an electrical key for an US Treasury currency production machine, which was stolen 3 days earlier. Josh gets the attention of a producer from LA who gets Drake to perform on TV at Sunset Studios. The owners of the G-O kidnap Drake and Josh and Megan finds the kidnapper's wallet. She then goes to the place where Drake and Josh have been taken hostage and calls the police on the kidnappers. The police come and explained that the leader, Milo McRarie, is on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List. Megan then leaves to catch her flight to Denver. Drake and Josh then drive to Sunset Studios so Drake can perform his song Hollywood Girl. Two girls then go to Drake to compliment him and ask if they can hang out with him and Josh which they approved.

Drake throws a Christmas party on the roof of the Premiere, but when a groups of teens trash the place, Josh is mistaken for one of the teens and gets arrested. At night, Drake breaks into prison attempting to free Josh, after he promises to provide a little girl named Mary Alice and her foster family the 'Best Christmas Ever'. But Drake's plan failed and both were arrested and were intended to spend life in prison for multiple crimes. However things are changed when Drake hires Josh's boss, Helen, to represent them in their case stating that she has never lost an argument, in which the judge agrees to give Drake and Josh a chance to save themselves from prison if they can stick to their promise to give the foster-family their 'Best Christmas Ever'. Meanwhile, Drake and Josh's parole officer, Perry Gilbert, does what he can to prevent Drake and Josh from keeping their promise, and so they turn to Megan, who provides them with enough information to stop his evil ways. However, when Gilbert tricks Steve into telling the foster-family about everything, they feel betrayed and threaten to all vote 'no' when asked by the court. At the end of the TV movie, they all have a happy Christmas holiday after Steve makes snow by shredding cheese in a woodchipper and Drake and Josh do a nice thing for Gilbert that changes his Christmas spirit. The TV film was made apart from the regular series, closing all the story lines for the series.
