Blue Mound (Vernon County, Missouri)

Blue Mound is a summit in Vernon County in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] With an elevation of 925 feet (282 m), Blue Mound is the 375th highest summit in the state of Missouri.[2]

Variant names were "Blue Mounds" and "Twin Mounds".[1] The summit was named for its characteristic bluish hue when viewed from afar.[3]
