Blue Byte Mainz (formerly Related Designs Software GmbH) is a German video game developer which specializes in strategy games. In April 2007, Ubisoft gained a 29.95% stake in the company after acquiring the former stakeholder, Sunflowers Interactive.[1] In April 2013, Ubisoft got hold of the remaining 70.05% of stake, thus making Related Designs a wholly owned subsidiary.[2] In June 2014, Related Designs was made a division of Blue Byte, and reincorporated as Blue Byte Mainz.[3]
