Blackjack, Missouri
Blackjack is an unincorporated community in St. Clair County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]
History
The community was named for blackjack oak trees near the original town site.[2] A variant name was "Sample".[1] A post office called Sample was established in 1905, and remained in operation until 1915.[3]
