A black room is a room for intercepting communications, also known as a Cabinet noir.

The Black Room may refer to:
Aleister Crowley claimed to have had two rooms used as temples at a London address, one decorated white where he practiced white magickal ritual and one decorated black for correspondingly darker magickal ritual purposes. Re: "The Confessions of Aleister Crowley", page 182. In 1973 the musician Peter Hammill recorded the song "(In The) Black Room" which uses tarot symbolism and epitomises the use of such a room for ritualistic behaviour, from his album "Chameleon In The Shadow Of The Night".
