The Black-n-Bluegrass RollerGirls (BBRG) is a WFTDA roller derby league based in Northern Kentucky. They consist of 30+ skaters and roster 2 teams, the Black-Outs (A team) and the Shiners (B team) which competes with other teams from this region.
The league was founded in May 2006,[1] the first flat track league in northern Kentucky.[2] It held its first season in 2008,[1] and, by 2011, the league had more than forty skaters.[3]
Black-n-Bluegrass was accepted into the Women's Flat Track Derby Association Apprentice Program in April 2010,[4] and became a full member of the WFTDA in March 2012.[5]
They are playing at Hits Indoor Baseball Park in Covington, KY. For their schedule and more info go to www.NKYROLLERDERBY.com
