In addition to his youtube channel, he has worked on other web series like The Viral Fever Videos (TVF) and Happii Fi. He has also done television commercials.[2][3] He released his song named "Teri Meri Kahani" in collaboration with The Viral Fever Videos (TVF).[4][5]

Bam's videos for BB Ki Vines are filmed using the front facing camera on a phone by himself. He originally uploaded his videos to Facebook, and then to Youtube.[6]

Bam has been a speaker at TEDxIITD at IIT Delhi and TEDxJUIT at Jaypee University of Information Technology in 2016.[7][8]

Early life and education

Bam started his career as a musician and performer in a bar. He played music until late hours to earn a living. He started writing his own songs and composed them. His best known original song is "Teri Meri Kahani". Bam holds a Bachelors degree from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi. [9]

Internet career

He made a sarcastic video of a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions regarding the death of her son due to the Kashmir Floods, which he then posted on Facebook. This video went viral, inspiring Bam to create his own Youtube channel in June 2015.[10]

'BB Ki Vines' has become one of the most viewed and subscribed channels in India. The videos posted by him are two to eight minutes long, and usually depict the life of an urban teenager - on topics such as Valentine's Day, exams, parents, house help, girlfriends and teachers - replete with humour and bawdy overtones.[11]
