Bhopalpatnam is a tehsil, revenue division and development block in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, India.[1] It is also ferry break point of Jagdalpur-Nizamabad highway [National Highway 63] where one has to take boat to cross the river Indravati. The National Highway 163 begins here and connects to Hyderabad in Telangana but there is ferry break on River Godavari, near Tupakulagudem in Telangana-Chhattisgarh border. There are 30 village panchayats in Bhopalpatnam.[2]
Bhopalpatnam town lies 47 km west of the district headquarters in Bijapur.
