Bhakti Rathod is an Indian actress and theatre artist,[1][2] who hails from Mumbai.[3][4] Bhakti acted in Gujarati serial Pati Thayo Pati Gayo on Colors Gujarati.[5][6][7][8] Bhakti made her debut in Dhollywood with film Haal Rupali ne peinwa opposite Hitu Kanodia in 2009.[5][9] Bhakti also acted in rom-com web series.[10][11]
Early life
Bhakti mother is Neela Soni who is a member of Central Board of Film Certification and Vice President of BJP North Mumbai. Her father is Kannubhai Kannu Rathod. She has a sister, Chitralekha Rathod. Bhakti completed her education from Rustomjee Cambridge International School & Junior College, Dahisar, Mumbai and University of Mumbai.
Career
Bhakti started her career as a child artist in Hindi serials on Star Plus like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand.[12] She also acted in a Gujarati natak Family Ni Dandikuch and Dhollywood (Gujarati) film Aapne To Dhirubhai.[13][14][15][16] Bhakti got Best Theatre actress at the Tihai Gujarati Glamour Award 2014, for her play, '2 Idiots.'[17] Bharti acted in Gujarati serials Pati Thayo Pati Gayo[18], Kanho Banyo Common Man,[19] and directed a Gujarati play Mr and Miss barot. In 2017, Bhakti acted in a Gujarati romantic comedy web-series Kacho Papad Pako Papad.[20][21][22][23]
