The Besturn B50 is a sedan family car produced by the Chinese car manufacturer Besturn FAW Group since 2009.[1][2] is a car body design by Italdesign Giugiaro from the platform Mazda 6 and Ford CD3. The Besturn B50 is based on the old Mazda 6 that is still in production by the FAW-Mazda joint venture, and the 1.6 liter engine comes from the Volkswagen Bora which is made by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. It is powered by a naturally aspirated engine of 1.6 litre capacity. In 2013, with 62,342 sales, the B50 was the most popular model in the Besturn family, and in year 2014, the 72,259 units were sold. B50 also boasts a 4 star crash test score from C-NCAP. Transmission type Thorning making Aisin Seiki.[3]
