Ali Benjamin Nadjem (Dari: علی بنیامین نجم, born 2 April 1995 in Hamburg, Germany) is a German-born Afghan footballer who plays as a fullback for FC St. Pauli II in the Regionalliga Nord.

Youth career

Nadjem began his youth career with SC Concordia. Nadjem played also in the youth of FC St. Pauli before making his debut for the second team of St. Pauli.

Nadjem played 3 games in the 2013–2014 season with St. Pauli.[1] In his second season he became a regular starter for the team and played 24 games and received 3 yellow cards.[2] In his 3rd season he played 25 games and received 6 yellow cards. [3] In the 2016–2017 season he made his first assist. [4]

International career

Nadjem was called up in January for the national team of Afghanistan.[5] He made his debut for Aghanistan in a friendly 2-1 win over Singapore on 23 March 2017.[6]
