Belen Galarraga

Belén Galárraga (born January 26, 1991, Quito, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian-Portuguese TV Host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who crowned Miss Portugal 2010 but did not compete at Miss Universe 2010. on January 22, 2012, she won the Miss Elite Model Detroit competition.

Biography

Born and raised in Quito, is the daughter of mother Portuguese, and of Ecuadorian father. Galárraga is polyglot, she speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese, and is studying Russian. In 2009 she traveled to Portugal to continue their university studies; since February 2013 is Engineer in Marketing and Management Communication, graduated from the University ESPE (Army Polytechnic School) of Ecuador. She is a professional model since age 16 and has Portuguese nationality since 2007. In June 2013 makes its debut as a TV presenter in the program Petrovida Ecuador's state oil company Petroecuador, TV program for the environment, getting good reviews by the public. Galárraga also was a model of the famous program The Familion Nestlé led by Venezuelan presenter Daniel Sarcos, transmitted by GamaTV.

Miss Universe Portugal 2010

Galarraga, with only 19, represented to Porto in Miss Portugal on April 11, 2010, exclusive event held in the multipurpose room "Coliseu dos Recreios of Lisbon" In this contest she won a special prize "Best figure Luso" given to the candidate with the best body the pageant, and the title maximum beauty of Portugal: Miss Universe Portugal 2010. she, wins the right to represent Portugal at Miss Universe 2010 a lot of rumor, was heard to be held in Zabreg,Croatia, but finally was in Las Vegas, United States. the winner of Miss Universe 2010, was the Mexican Ximena Navarrete

Reina de Quito 2012

Galárraga has been always favorite of the press and public since she was a candidate for Queen of Quito in 2012. But although already had experience in beauty contests, finally, the November 22, 2012 (final date of the contest) don´t was finalists.
