Beck A. Taylor

Beck A. Taylor is the president of Whitworth University,[1] a private, Christian, university in Spokane, WA. At Whitworth, he has served as the 18th president of the university beginning in 2010.[2] As the president of Whitworth, Taylor and his family live in the Hawthorne House,[3] located on the main road on campus, Hawthorne Road. This house is where previous president, Bill Robinson,[4] resided for his seventeen years of presidency at the University.[3]

Education

Before becoming the president of Whitworth, Beck A. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Texas.[2] In Texas, Taylor had two majors: one in economics, and the other in finance.[5] After graduating, he attended Purdue University where he acquired his M.S. and Ph.D. in economics.[6]
