The Beaver Basin Wilderness is a United States Wilderness Area located in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Alger County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It covers an area of 11,740 acres (47.5 km²). It borders 13 miles (21 km) of Lake Superior shoreline. The North Country Trail has 8.4 miles (13.5 km) of trail in the wilderness area.^[1]
