Beard Meats Food
Beard Meats Food is the alias of British competitive eater and YouTube entertainer Adam Moran (born 1984 or 1985).
Beard Meets Food frequently participates in eating challenges in England,[1][2][3] and currently holds the British record for most Big Macs eaten;[4] this was a world record in August 2015 but was beaten the following month by US competitive eater Matt Stonie.[5] He won the 2015 Yorkshire Pudding Eating World Championships in Leavening, North Yorkshire,[6] set a world record for most McDonald's chicken nuggets eaten in one sitting[7] and competed in the 2015 Battle of Big Eaters World Championships for Team UK.[8]
Beard Meats Food has also filmed various projects for TV, including How to Win At Everything on National Geographic and How Safe is Meat, which aired on ITV's Tonight on 3 December 2015.
He posts weekly videos of his eating feats on YouTube and maintains a blog reviewing eating challenges across the UK.
Beard Meats Food is a former banker, and lives in Leeds.[9] He is a qualified personal trainer and says that competitive eating together with two hours' weight training per day has improved his body fat ratio over five years.[10][11] In 2016 he was given a position as food tester by the owner of an American-style diner chain in Yorkshire, who took out £1 million in insurance on his stomach and tastebuds.[9]
