The Siege of Sirhind was fought between the Mughals and Sikh forces in 1710. The Sikhs initially besieged and stormed the city of Sirhind,[2] however the Mughals were quick to recapture the city and quickly moved on to attack the Sikhs at Lohgarh. Wazir Khan was beheaded in the battle [1]
Aftermath
When Banda Singh Bahadur captured Sirhind he ordered that all men, women and children be released but we do not know for sure.
