Batchelor Roper (1801 – 10 January 1876) was an English cricketer active in the 1830s. He was born at Hollingbourne, Kent.
Roper made two appearances in two first-class cricket, the first for England against Sussex at Brighton in 1833, with his second appearance coming for Kent against England at Lord's in 1835.[1] A batsman of unknown handedness, Roper scored a total of 7 runs in his two matches.[2]
A farmer by profession, he died at the village of his birth on 10 January 1876. His extended family were tobaccopipe makers and brewers from Sittingbourne.[3]
