Batang Air by-election, 2009
A state assembly by-election was held on 7 April 2009 in the state assembly seat of Batang Ai, Sarawak, Malaysia. There was a turnout of 6,019 voters and whereby there were 59 spoilt votes. BN candidate Malcolm Mussen Lamoh defeated PKR candidate Jawah Gerang by a majority of 1,854 votes.[1]
