Basketball Agia Paraskevi (Greek: Καλαθοσφαίριση Αγίας Παρασκευής - Kalathosfairisi Agia Paraskevi/KAP) is a Greek basketball club based in Agia Paraskevi, Athens. It was founded in 1986 and so far has played two times in A2 Ethniki championship. In the last season it plays in Gamma Ethniki.[1]

History

The club was founded in 1986 with the merge of two local clubs of Agia Paraskevi, Kerafnos and Pegasus. It was originally named O.F.K. Agia Paraskevi (Omilos Filon Kalathosfairisis Agias Paraskevis) but in 2001 it was renamed to its current name. In 2012, it achieved to promote A2 Ethniki for first time in its history.[2] But it remained only two years and in 2014 relegated again to Beta Ethniki. The season 2014-15 Agia Paraskevi finished in 11th place of the Beta Ethniki championship and relegated again to Gamma Ethniki.[3]
