Basaria is a census town in Dhanbad district in the state of Jharkhand, India.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Basaria had a population of 3,966. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Basaria has an average literacy rate of 52%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 69% of the males and 31% of females literate. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
