Barangay Marinig (PSGC: 043404010) is one of the eighteen urbanized[1] barangays comprising the progressive City of Cabuyao in the province of Laguna, Philippines.

At August 24, they celebrate the feast of their barangay and their patron St. Bartholomew (San Bartolome) for a good harvest.

According to the gossips of the residents here in Barangay Marinig, the relic was founded at Laguna de Bay (Laguna Lake).

Barangay Marinig lies for about one and a half kilometer away from the city proper of Cabuyao and is situated at the northern portion of the city. According to the 2010 Census,[2] it has a population of 37,169 inhabitants (up from 25,619 from 2007[3]), making it rank as the second largest barangay in Cabuyao in terms of population (after Barangay Mamatid).
