Banka Junction railway station is a station operated by Eastern Railway zone located in Banka town of the Indian state of Bihar.[2] It falls under the Malda railway division of the Eastern Railway zone of the Indian Railways.[1] The railway station has 3 platforms. It is connected to Indian cities of Patna, Bhagalpur and Jasidih through daily passenger trains. As of October 2016, four passenger trains originate and just as many depart from the railway station.[3]

History

A seven coach passenger train ran on Jasidih-Banka railway line for the first time on 22 June 2016.[4]
