Notes

The Ananth Nag and Shankar Nag starrer movie Janma Janmada Anubandha was also released at the same time, which had a similar plot. Director Nagabharana was tense as the collection of his movie dropped, he approached Suresh Urs (then an aspiring editor) for help. Suresh Urs watched the complete movie and re-positioned the reels overnight and gave it to Nagabharana. This incident changed the fortune of the movie and Bangarada Jinke went on to become a Super hit movie. The Shankar Nag directed movie bombed at the box-office.

The song "Olume Siriya Kandu" picturized on Vishnuvardhan and Bharathi was shot at the Channarayana Durga Hill. Bangara Nayaka's Fort is Channarayana Durga which is atop the Channarayana Hill in the vicinity of the Madhugiri Betta near Tumkur in Karnataka.[2]
