Bandar Sri Damansara is an affluent major residential township within the Damansara subdivison of the Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia, consisting mixed development of commercial and residential properties, previously developed by Land and General Berhad and currently by TA Global.

Location

Bandar Sri Damansara is a freehold residential and commercial zone located in the Klang Valley, with a district code of Petaling Jaya Utara 9 (PJU 9). The township is located just north of Damansara Perdana (PJU8) and is within proximity to other townships such as Kota Damansara (PJU5), Bandar Utama (PJU6), Mutiara Damansara (PJU 7), Bandar Menjalara, Sierramas and Valencia. It is situated opposite Desa Park City and Sunway SPK Damansara.

Accessibility

Bandar Sri Damansara has road networks with accessibility via E11 , New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Sprint expressway’s Penchala Link, and Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) through a shortcut to the Kepong-Kuala Selangor Highway . Currently, a new Bandar Sri Damansara link to Duta–Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) is being constructed to allow easier access into the Kuala Lumpur City Center, and to decrease the traffic congestion in the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP).[1]

rapidKL bus 801 (formerly U86) connects Bandar Sri Damansara to  SBK9  MRT Bandar Utama and  KA07  KTM Kepong Sentral.

The property prices in Bandar Sri Damansara had been increasing rapidly as more and more people are migrating to this township and recent developments such as Ativo Plaza.

Bandar Sri Damansara, like most of Damansara, falls under the jurisdiction of the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (Petaling Jaya City Council), and is represented in parliament by Sivarasa Rasiah of PKR under the constituency of Subang. On the Selangor State Legislative Assembly, Bandar Sri Damansara falls under the constituency of Bukit Lanjan, currently represented by Elizabeth Wong, also from PKR.

Recent Development

Damansara Avenue is one of the more high-profile development projects in the area, spawning some 48 acres of freehold land housing a mix of residential and commercial properties. This integrated real estate project is developed by TA Global.
