Baker, St. Clair County, Missouri

Baker is a former community in St. Clair County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The town site was inundated and destroyed with the creation of the Truman Reservoir.^[1]

A post office called Baker was established in 1869, and remained in operation until 1919.^[2] Ike Baker, an early postmaster, gave the community his last name.^[3]
