Bahar (Persian: بهار, also Romanized as Bahār)[1] is a city in and capital of Bahar County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,271, in 6,956 families.[2]
Most of the people are farmers and potato and watermelon is cultivated mostly by them. It has mid summers and cold winter with high rate of snowfall. Ayatollah Bahari is a famous clergyman whose shrine is located in Bahar.
