Backup and Disaster Recovery appliance
A Backup and Disaster Recovery Appliance [1][2] (also BDR Appliance[3] or BDR) is a specialized backup appliance that includes both backup software, backup storage, and a hypervisor to support local disaster recovery on the appliance.[4]
