"Baatein Yeh Kabhi Na"(English: "Never Forget")[2] is a song from the Soundtrack of the Movie Khamoshiyan, the song is sung by Arijit Singh for male version and Palak Mucchal for female, it is composed by Jeet Ganguly and the lyrics are written by Poet Sayeed Quadri.
Recognition and in Popular culture
The song got significant coverage by Indian Media when a Pakistani fruit seller sang the song, and a talent hunt organization of Pakistan uploaded the video on Social Media.[1]
The song also got a significant amount of "Indian media coverage" when a security guard named Adarsh Singh who hails from Kolkata, sung the "Baatein Yeh Kabhi Na" and his video shot singing the song went viral on the social media ,the guard is believed to be fan of Arijit Singh, as he had also sung other songs sung by Arijit.[3]

Zee News in its review wrote, "Baatein Ye Kabhi Na" song brims with romance between the star cast and is a beautiful number sung by the singer with a scintillating voice, Arijit Singh.[5]
"India.com" in its review wrote, Arijit Singh soulful voice has added life to the beautiful lyrics penned Sayeed Quadri. Jeet Gannguli has composed the music for this romantic number.[6]
